Who We Are

Alka-Pure was founded in 2008 in order to bring a new line of alkaline hydration products to market. As more and more research and scientific studies emerged regarding the benefits of an alkaline lifestyle, and more directly, the importance of proper alkaline hydration in supporting optimal health and well-being, the founders decided that they would create a company that could provide a complete program for the health-minded consumer to help them easily incorporate alkaline living into their long-term health regime. At that time, there were several companies offering systems for creating alkaline water and a handful who offered bottled alkaline water, but none who were offering a complete alkaline-hydration solution that could be incorporated into the “on-the-go lifestyle” that most individuals live.

With that challenge, the founders began extensive research to determine a way to create a system that would allow individuals to achieve their Optimum Hydration Potential (OHP) in a way that was economical, beneficial and easy to use. They knew the key to success was in finding a way to create the very best alkaline water product available that would offer all the known health benefits associated with alkaline water along with a system that would not “damage” the water, as a lot of the available systems did, or put barriers in the consumption habits of the individual.

Most alkaline water systems use an electrical ionization of the water to create their product. Not only was this wasteful of energy but along with their filtration process this depleted the water of its natural mineral content thereby creating a high-alkaline product, but one that was sterile. In addition the system did not provide the consumer a viable alternative when traveling or in public places where carrying a container of water around was not feasible or desirable. The Alka-Pure founders knew there had to be a better way.

The result was the discovery of their patented Alka-Pure Bio-C Filter. Using a natural mineral based process, this filter is not only able to create a high-alkaline water product, but one that also restores all the essential minerals found in pure mountain spring water. The founders of Alka-Pure had hit the jackpot. They were now able to take any source water and completely purify it of all contaminants and toxins, imbue it with the natural minerals the body needs to sustain good health, and then convert it to the very best high- alkaline water on the market.

Now with the development of this process in hand, the founders were able to create the first and only alkaline water product line that could provide a complete hydration solution for the modern consumer. An in-home system to supply all household needs, a bottled water product that consumers could carry with them 24/7, and their most unique product, the Alka-Pure "Go-Pak" concentrate which allows anyone to instantly convert up to 20oz of water into mineral rich, high-alkaline Alka-Pure Water.
